Located in West Town, Boeufhaus is the coalescence of old world culinary techniques and contemporary style.

Our goal is to satisfy varied cultural appetites by using sustainably and responsibly raised animals and artisanal house-made products in our seasonally evolving menu. And, most importantly, to give you a continuously indulgent experience. Enjoy yourself. Be carnivorous.

Boeufhaus, a French and German inspired brasserie, nestled on the border of the Ukrainian Village and Humboldt Park discreetly opened April 9, 2015. Owned by Chefs Brian Ahern and Jamie Finnegan, years of preparation led them to realize they wanted the opening to be a sincere gesture to neighbors and local foodies first. Boeufhaus is the coalescence of old world culinary techniques and contemporary style serving responsibly raised animals and artisanal products—providing a fresh take on classic farm to table fare. And while meat is at the core of the Boeufhaus experience (Boeuf, French for “beef” and Haus, German for “house”), the menu created by Chef Ahern is both balanced and seasonal.

Reservations

Call (773) 661–2116 from 11a – 11p Tuesday thru Sunday, or book online with Reserve.

We know how annoying reservation policies can be.  But with a very limited amount of seating and a huge desire to make people happy, there are a few favors we ask of our guests:

  • We require a credit card number to hold a reservation.  We understand plans can change, but a fee of $50 per seat may be incurred if you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation.
  • Unfortunately, we can not guarantee a reservation for parties that are more than 15 minutes late, but we will do our very best to seat you as soon as possible.
  • Please understand that due to our seating capacity, we may ask for the table back at the completion of your meal.
  • We may seat parties of 1-2 at our beautiful copper-top bar.
